I'd say it's got to be looking likely if he remains fit. Really good showing from him in the last couple of months, and scoring a variety of goals.

That's the only downside- the feeling that inevitably he'll get injured again soon, although I really hope not.
Full marks for being big enough to reconsider your opinion of him, by the way.

Yup he's surprised.me and more than happy to admit I was wrong .. far more of a player than I ever thought he was ... quite enjoy watching him play

Yes- it's his all round play that's really improved. He had a habit of looking really clumsy, not controlling or laying off the ball well, but that and his passing and movement has really improved.
It was like he was never fit long enough to shake off the rust.

He has always looked better and better with his feet the longer he has been fit.
Whatever else is going on with the squad, Bilic's belief in him has worked wonders.

he deserves it as there are few players that can what he does in Europe let alone for England. selfishly I hope he doesn't as he's bound to get injured.

You look at the England squad... yeah ok Kane.... but Sturridge aint getting a gig... Vardy can't score... Welbeck only just back from injury... the Bumper has got every chance at the mo

Maybe some of you were just not seeing qualities but his passing has always been decent, he's a clever player than many would give him credit for. He definately looks sharper and fitter though.

Sturridge and Vardy are bang out of form this season. On form Carroll should definitely be right up there. No complaints about the mong being first choice at the moment, although I expect him to melt again once he puts on an England shirt when it really counts.

no, i don't want him called up. the England set up is there for players if certain clubs, agents and boot/kit manufacturers. the FA can fuck off, they're not ruining another of our players

If there's one thing that puts the bok on Carroll and his fitness it's a thread like this.
Playing for England ended Deano's career. England can fuck right off and I'm saying that as a proud Englishman.

As mentioned below, he absolutely terrifies defenders, you can see it in their eyes, that just don't like it
And at set plays it is borderline comical
But, he can play and one key factor frequently overlooked are his defensive abilities, he really is very good
